Hi,
So, I have heard that Windows 10 is going to be free for all Windows 7 and Windows 8 users for 1 year. This sounds great, but the 1 year part confuses me. Is Windows 10 going to be free for only one year, meaning that we have to start paying for it after the year is done, or does it mean that you have 1 year to get the OS for free and once you get it, its yours forever.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I am having some confusions and just want to make it clear. :D

Thanks in Advance.

I think they just want everyone to jump on the windows 10 OS asap!

I think windows10 will be very cheap if you ever wanted to buy it... and for some reason that free upgrade for win7 and win8 might be a bit longer than one year. Just a feeling tho.

Ok thanks! I know that it wouldn't be sold as a subscription, otherwise that would be weird. I meant like was it going to be like a "1 yr trial" in which you can get for one full year, but then you would have to buy it. But now, I know that is not the case. Thanks for the help!
