QuickHELP with Rams Please

I have 4 ddr3 slots one is broken..i have four rams 2gb ,2x 4gb and 1gb all 1333mhz
Is it better to put just 2x4gb or add the 2gb too?

Put the two fours in the slots that will give you dual channel. Only add another stick if your system uses more than 8 GB's of RAM.

The 2x4 in the same colored working slots and the 2 in the opposite slot of the broken one - are you sure it's broken? From the CPU counting 1, 2, 3, 4 which slot is broken? it may not be - what mobo and CPU
