[SOLVED] Quiet 3060 12 GB models?

hello this is a simple but good question. I just don't exist in the graphics card world very much.
I'm looking to buy a 3060 12 GB model mainly for the vram and I see price variants from 330 all the way up to 630. But I looked at the benchmarks and they're all basically the same.

so I'm looking to spend the median price of around 400 bucks. and my goal is to have a very quiet GPU.
I am thinking the models with three fans and a bigger heatsink will be the quietest any good recommendations I was looking for a good 40 mins but I just can't tell a difference

Quietest and best cooled RTX 3060 would be MSI Gaming X version. Since all MSI Gaming-series GPUs have Zero Frozr feature, meaning that when GPU temps are below 60C, GPU fans will stop, outputting 0 dB(A).

I had MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 3G and now having MSI GTX 1660 Ti Gaming X, and both GPUs are dead silent, just like i like them. Also, when needed their cooling is also superb and max what i've ever seen out of either of my GPUs, was 66C.

Btw, Gaming-series is top-of-the line from MSI and you may not get one at your price point. Instead, you may need to fork out more money than the "average".

I notice my 3060 fans never even turn on. (this a machine I don't game on).

but you are right bigger heatsinks and more fans usually means more cooling.
