I think the low-end Fujitsu one is fairly quiet.

I bought the low end mitsumi one for my mom and it was really quiet. I didn't use it for a long time though and I have no idea what she thinks, but I was impressed those couple of days I used it.

The thing was cheap as dirt though ($8) so I'm not sure how it would hold up. She doesn't use the computer a lot so it didn't make a difference to me when I bought it ....

I bought a MS natural keyboard. Expensive as all hell ($65 can) but worth every penny. Almost as nice to press as those new mac keyboards, and nicely curved. Im sure that the normal (not natural) keyboards by MS are the same, and they are only about $20 can.

Logitech makes a wireless keyboard without any fancy buttons that is fairly quiet, and comfortable to use. I love it ... and recommend it highly. It's sturdy, too ... unlike some other keyboards I have used. I type pretty hard, and have killed a couple! It's also the smallest keyboard I have owned ... but the button placement is nice.

You can get it without the mouse, which really brings down the price. I've seen it at Best Buy.

Dells quietkeyboard isn't quiet, and it's not very good. I would equate it to the comp usa keyboard that costs $10. POS. My Dell keyboard lost one key after another. The n key stopped working after a month.

LOL!!

I actually like the Dell Quietkeybards in my University's Computing Center...it has a nice springy feel...while my Microsoft Keyboard seems mushy...

Your mouse moved. WINDOWS NT must restart for changes to take affect. Restart Now?[OK]
