I had the previous version of the Antec LanBoy that included the 350w psu. I think it was fairly quiet but can't recall now.

But, I'm considering the newer version:
"ANTEC ALUMINUM SERIES SUPER LAN BOY MINI TOWER CASE" for about $77 w/o psu.

I am wanting a good case that is LIGHT and QUIET. I guess QUIET would be a more desired feature but if it could be light, I'd want that too.

Is this Antec a good fit for me needs?
Will it be quiet enough since it will probably be light?

TIA

The quietness of that case would be determined by what fans you have. Every lanboy case I have seen was so small and light weight it would let out every sound you had inside the case. Hopefully the new ones are made out of slightly better material, the orrigional lanboy cases were so thin you could put dents in it simply by poking it with your finger, lol.
Just get some nice quiet fans in it and you should be good to go.

If you want to give up a little smallness for super quiet go for the Lian-Li PC-V1100 or PC-6070. They are truely silenced cases.

The problem with "light and quiet" is that light means no special noise isolation materials, and that lighter panels trasfer noise! So there is no "light and quiet" options. If you want light, you suffer from noise, which you can reduce by using quiet fans.
