Quiet PC Case Fans

I just built my first ever PC a few days ago and I'm really happy with the way it turned out but the one thing that bothers me is the amount of noise that the case fans make. They're not too loud but still loud enough for me to hear them while the pc is under my desk. I have an NZXT H440 and am using the four stock fans that came included with it. Three 120mm fans in the front and 1 140mm fan in the back. All of these fans are connected to the included PWM hub in the case. For my cpu cooler I have the cooler master Nepton and am using the included two120mm fans for the radiator. The pump is connected to the CPU1 header and the two radiator fans are connected to the CPU2 header. All the case fans are connected to the SYS1 header via one cable from the PWM hub. I've tried to adjust the RPM for the case fans via the bios but they don't appear. My question is did I connect the fans and pump in the appropriate headers? Any feedback is appreciated as I just want to make my pc as silent as possible even if that means replacing all the fans. Thank you.

Sounds like its hooked up OK, when you use the hubs sometimes speeds don't get registered.

Fans move air, moving air is noisy. Unless you can hear an audible brush, or tick, or grind, etc, coming directly from the fan's bearings - you're hearing moving air.

Moving air always makes noise. No amount of fancy ridge foil spoiler knobs will reduce this. They attempt to make the air less turbulent, which would in theory make it quieter, but it really doesn't.

Turn the fan speeds waaaaaaay down, to the point where they barely even have enough juice to turn on. Hows that sound? because realistically, you don't need fans moving very fast to get the job done.

I have tried turning the speed of the fans down via the bios and FanSpeed but both methods didn't work and the fans just keep on spinning at the same speed?
