Question Quietest 1080p GPU

I'm currently looking for the best 1080p GPUs that are also quiet during both gaming and idle. I was recently looking at the Sapphire Nitro + Radeon RX 580 GPU, but I realised that the power draw from the RX 580 GPUs is really high. So I changed my mind about getting that GPU, but I've been having difficulties figuring out what other GPUs are both great for 1080p gaming and are quiet. And my current monitor is an Acer G236HL, which has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080p and a frequency of 60Hz.

If it helps I'll list my CPU, RAM and Motherboard:

Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X470-I Gaming

CPU: AMD 2600x

RAM: Corsair Vengence LPX DDR4 2666MHz 16GB (2 x 8GB)

If you ask me, based on my personal experience, the ASUS ROG STRIX model is one of the quietest GPUs I've ever owned. Dead silent even under heavy GPU load.

What's your BUDGET for the GPU, btw ? Are you looking for a GPU which performs similar to the RX 580 ? NVIDIA cards are better, when it comes to the Power draw/TDP, and are more power efficient.

I would look into GTX1660/1660Ti both run cooler than the RX series because of lot less power needed.

I am running an EVGA GTX 1080 and it is quiet. There was a time when I was running the Ati / Amd Sapphire ( HD5770 ) and those were quiet. I can only assume the Sapphires still are.

Normally, I would say go with the 1660 because it's less expensive. HOWEVER, since being quiet is an important consideration, I would actually suggest a 1660Ti with a good cooler, because, while the 1660 and 1660Ti both have a 120W TDP, the 1660Ti is a faster card.

As a result, my assumption is that the 1660Ti will use less power to do 60fps @ 1920x1080 than would a 1660, thereby being able to get away with a lower fan speed. I believe that assuming the same resolution and both outputting the same frame rate on the same game, the 1660Ti would have a lower utilization than would the 1660.
