Quietest psu without coil whine.

I really want to spend a premium for a quiet psu.
I hear that the x-series x-850 etc has coil whine. I don't know if my ears would hear it or not but I can hear some high pitched sounds others can't.

Id like to have around 600 or more watts.

Well needed wattage will depend on your systems build (what GPU, CPU etc).

200-280 canadian
I know this stuff, I'm saying at least 600 watts or so.

I have a Seasonic X-750 and I never hear it.
In a case, I would not hear any whine anyway.
Seasonic tells you to not worry if the fan does not spin

I have no problem overprovisioning a PSU a bit. Say 20%.
It will run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.

My X650 was returned to newegg for bad whine, it's the luck of the draw.

As an alternative. The reviews on this unit were fantastic, in cold testing it was reaching Platinum efficiency ratings with near Platinum in hot testing.
