Hi, have you ever attended a Quiz / Trivia / PubQuiz evening?

Has the quiz master ever done some entertaining / funny / enjoyable
activities in between the rounds of questions?

If so, can you please post any such items here.

I am looking for as many suggestions as possible for a school fund-raising
evening next month.

Many Thanks,
PS

We have done:

- Raffles
- Door Prizes
- "Fishbowl" questions - teams get asked a question out loud, one team at a
time. This works best if the rest of the contest is written, obviously.

You could also probably do a sort of mini-scavenger hunt, something like
"Every team that can bring a nail file, a pocketknife, and a library card to
the front of the room in the next 2 minutes gets 5 bonus points".

In the contests we have run (or played) the question rounds usually feature
a team answering 25 or so questions om 20 minutes, so the breaks between
rounds tend to be used for getting another beer and using the restroom, not
necessarily in that order... :)
