I just wanted to know whether it would be better to have a Ryzen 3 2200g with a gtx 1050 or a Ryzen 5 2400g with a gt 1030 For me i can get both of them for around the £200-£220 range they both pretty much cost the same. So which one would be better?I mean better overall. In all aspects, editing gaming adobe content creating document writing, etc.

In your position I would just get the R5-2400G and call it a day. You can add a faster GPU later on.

If you want the discrete GPU, then an r3-1300x GTX1050, but preferably R5-1400 + GTX1050.

This is basically what i want to know. Ryzen 2400g with a gt 1030 if overclocked with quite a difference in the dgpu and ryzen's igpu; not *too* large. Or 2200g with gtx 1050 which nearly doubles performance of the gt 1030. So ryzen's igpu would be no where near as good as the gtx 1050. But then i get nearly double fps instead of the r 2400g with gt 1030. but what i wanted to knowis whether there would be a substantial difference in terms of the things I would use it for as stated in the original question.

How much better would a r3-1300x be than a R5-1400

It wouldn't? R3-1300X is going to be a plain quad core. R5-1400 will be a quad core with SMT, so eight threads instead of four. Which would be much better for streaming.

If you insist on £220 then the R3-1300X and GTX1050 is about all you can get. Up to you if you want to spend more.
