[SOLVED] r3 3200G vs i5 9400f for animation/design

Im building a rig for college with a 600$USD budget. I will be using it primarily for those task.
Userbenchmark shows the i5 as the better one (and I would actually make the build cheaper) but I not sure if for this aplication its the best of the two since most builds for design recomend Ryzen.
Also I might wait a bit on buying the graphics card (since I don't have all the money yet), which makes the first makes more sense.

AMD build:
Asus Prime X570-P
R3 3200G
RX 570 (might buy RX580 or GTX 1660 instead)
2TB HDD
240GB SSD
EVGA 450W

Intel build:
B360M PRO-VH (might change it so I can get more RAM slots and headers)
i5-9400f
RX 570 (might buy RX580 or GTX 1660 instead)
2 TB HDD
240GB SSD
EVGA 450W

I don't know anything on animation/design, but what I CAN say:
1)You can save some money on the first build with the below combination. Ryzen 3200g and 3400g are just 2200g and 2400g with slightly higher clocks, and are less than 10% faster overall.

2)The 9400f and other 9th gen Intel cpus do not work out of the box with B360. B365 and Z390 do.
3)The 9400f does not have an igpu. That's what the F refers to. So this would need to be changed to the 9400.
4)Since it's going to be awhile before you get a gpu, all the better for my suggestion to your 1st build. The igpu on the 2400g(Vega 11) is a little stronger than the one on the 3200g(Vega 8).
