That computer has integrated graphics. You need to firstly make sure that the integrated graphics are disabled in the BIOS. It should be something like video. Make sure the primary is PCI-E not integrated or whatever it says. Then start the computer up and install the drivers. Oh, and of course make sure to switch your monitor cable to the new card.

Also if you can't disable it in the BIOS because your MB is a POS then you can do it via Device Manager. Just go in there and select integrated and DISABLE it.

Ok, I did that, and still no change. Everything looks like it starts up but nothin pops up on my monitor untill i take the card out. Would it be safe to assume that the card is bad? or could it be a compatability thing with my computer? it looks like my computer has all the requirements so im confused as to whats goin on : /
