R5 1600 GTX 1070 or i7 7700k GTX 1060

Hi! I have found some pretty good offers on pre-built systems so I chose to go this way. I am having trouble choosing from a Ryzen 5 1600 3.2 GHz with a GTX 1070 or an i7 7700k 3.6 GHz with a GTX 1060 and I really need your honest opinion for getting the best gaming experience. Thank you!

1600 + GTX 1070 will be more balanced for ~100 FPS in most games while GTX 1060 will bottleneck 7700k a lot.

Thank you. I am planning on getting a 75 Hz monitor. I don’t know if I’m gonna play in 4K. I’m not going to be playing many MMOs.

I'd get the combo with the 1070. It's not a 4k card though, so I wouldn't recommend buying it if that's what you think. Think of it as a high framerate 1080p card or a good 1440p card.

1440p 75 hz is fine, but 1080p 144 hz is better gaming experience if you play fps games.

I dont think I am gonna touch near 144 fps.
