Recently purchase a Radeon R5 230 1GB (gigabyte) with the intent of putting it in a old computer of mine. To much despair after opening the GPU I realised that the connectors didn't match. After some googling I have come to the conclusion that there is no hope of using a PCI-e Card in a AGP slot. Made this thread to see if there were any adapters I could buy that would possibly make the card work? apologies if I wasted space here, I'm not a very good explainer.

Solution
A better solution would be to buy a used computer with a PCIe slot, will be a lot easier to find and cheaper. I think there was only one product ever done to convert AGP to PCIe and only info I can see about it was that it cost $250. All links to it come up dead ends. If you don't want to replace the computer, return the card and get an AGP one, plenty out there on the used market.
