Hello,
So i bought a second hand gpu (r9 280x) and i just plugged it in to my system without dealing with any driver issues. But from then my monitor says no signal also my peripherals doesn't light up but my pc fans and mobo led does work. Even if i unplugged the gpu and tried with the apu it still doesn't work.
Pc specs:
Ryzen 5 2400g
B450 mobo
500w 80+ psu
16gb ram

Id say something got knocked loose. Make sure all power connectors are connected. I would make sure ram is clicked into place and try a cmos reset. Bridge the jbatt pins (near the battery) on the motherboard with a screwdriver for 10 seconds when the pc is off with psu on.

Hey,
Thanks for reply first. I did what you asked and now i am in the bios what do i need to do next.

That should be enough in theory, however, a good measure is to use this software to completely uninstall all trace of display drivers from your system.

After running this I would turn the system off and unplug it to install the R9280x into the system. Make sure to plug in the appropriate power connectors to the GPU. You then can boot the system up and install the latest driver from here (likely win10 64) https://www.amd.com/en/support/prev...s/amd-radeon-r9-200-series/amd-radeon-r9-280x
You should be ready to see a good performance increase in games.
