r5 2600x or i5 8400

i have a budget to buy r5 2600x. before its release i wanted to buy i5 8400. but after its release its changing my mind. i want to play games, stream and edit videos. i am actually assembling a new pc for my self with gtx 1060 6gb. so which one should i buy r5 2600x or i5 8400. which one would be better in all 3 aspects(games, stream and edit videos)

Hands down the 2600x-if it was purely for gaming you could make an argument for the 8400 but since you are planning to stream/render/edit as well the extra threads on the 2600x would make a significant difference.
