Hey,
1) I agree on the CPU (not APU) plus dedicated graphics card.
2) FYI, but the GPU in the APU won't perform at full performance without fast DDR3 memory (2133MHz is about the lowest that won't bottleneck it).
The GPU in the APU uses some of your System RAM so if you had 8GB and assigned 2GB you would only have 6GB left.
So when you add the slight increase in cost of faster DDR3 RAM (1600MHz good enough for dedicated CPU) and the loss of some DDR3 then that really affects the value of things.
An APU only makes sense if it's good enough as it is.
