Guys i want to ask a question...Should i buy gtx 750ti or r7 260x.
I am getting r7 260x at 4700INR(63$) and gtx 750 ti at 6500INR (103$)..I also have to buy a new psu as my this psu is of very cheap quality...So can u suggest which of these 2 card are better...and how much difference is there in these 2 cards??
And also a psu suggestion...(BTW i am living in India so there are not many good options in gpu)

If I have to choose between these 2 then I will be definitely going with the R7 260x. The price is ok. But if it was b/w 3500-4000 it will be good. The price is too much for the 750Ti. Its not worth for that price. But you can get a RX 460 around 8000inr. It is better than both of them.

And for a PSU you can get a seasonic S12II 520w if it fits in your budget else go for Antec VP550.

At the price of a 750ti a rx460 should be available or even a 1050. Those are much better options.

Well that's strange, I've seen benchmarks that perform the complete opposite. I guess that proves my point in that you cannot rely on benchmarks.

According to what? Every benchmark I've seen has the 260x tieing or slightly losing to the 750 Ti in most games.

You can rely on benchmarks just not random people on youtube doing benchmarks... Gamers nexus is on point...

Ive had both. AMD ages far better than nvidia when they both came out they were equal or it depended on the title. now the 260x is ahead... The links you have one doesn't work and the others from 3 years ago...

@Dooop805 Techpowerup is back up, 2nd link should work now.
Your link is just a bunch of synthetic benchmarks, which don't necessarily match up to actual gaming performance. Yes my links are old, because they're old cards, but at least they have actual gaming performance.

My perspective on these questions is this: Are these cards in the same performance category? If yes, get the one that costs less.

For example, if one card gets you 48fps in a game, while the other card gets you 43fps in that same game at those same settings, then there is no practical difference between the cards. You might as well buy the one that costs the least. You won't feel that difference in real world use.

If one card gets you 60fps and the other card gets you 35fps, now you are talking about a difference that is going to make an impact.

This is something I can stand behind, not this card is faster than the other

That other link is an article from the day the 750ti launched. With an estimate of where it would stack according to nvidia...
Here, we all know 3Dmark...

i3>Athlon x4 and the 260x seems to work better still...

OP said the 260x is cheaper..
