Yes you can do that but i would not recommend to OC with a vs PSU its not about the wattage its about the quality.

thnkuhh sooo mch for the answer...i can save more money nd buy cx430 is it a gud quality psu??

Save money and get this one http://www.flipkart.com/seasonic-eco-500-watts-psu/p/itmddqq8dzqzkzdy?pid=PSUDDQPPZZYAGRWT&otracker=from-search&srno=t_3&query=seasonic+&ref=1e887a3f-3cff-4f4b-b835-81de1154246a CX is a very crappy PSU i will say worse than CX.

???

CX is worse than CX?

And I certainly wouldn't say it's a "very crappy PSU". It's rated to output maximum output continuously at 40°C, which is a lot more than I can say for more than half the PSUs in it's price range.

what i mean was worse than VS .
What i know about CX yes its cheap but the same time they are not reliable and CX series PSU are not meant for gaming PC.

With a failure rate of less than 2% in the field (which is fairly typical), I would challenge that statement. Sure, the CX is only 80 Plus Bronze, doesn't have the best regulation/transient load response or lowest ripple, and the sleeve bearing fan, 30°C rating and second tier brand caps does lend to a short life span than more expensive units, it does not make them less reliable.

Dare I say that by looking within a three year time frame of the current CX ("V3") and the Seasonic built AX, the AX failure rate is actually twice that of the CX.

i bought corsair vs450 the uk version...ihve read somewhere it is quite different from indian version......is it good.....nd ill gonna get r7 265 after sometime...

I have nothing against corsair cx i have never used it myself but i have heard a lot of negative comments about it thats why i like to avoid it.

Personally I owned a Corsair CX750M for nearly a year and whilst they aren't amazing it never failed on me or behaved badly(even when i thought it did, it was actually my motherboard playing up!)

Whilst the CX PSU's aren't amazing, They're not the worst things ever and you could buy a lot worse PSUs.

Still get the seasonic unit if you can as they're great.

The only thing different between the Corsair PSUs in different regions is the power cord.

If you read somewhere that the "Indian version" is "quite different", I would avoid reading anything else from that same source.
