R7 370 - a rebrand of the R9 270 or the R7 265?

Okay, I've been getting a ton of different answers.... I've been planning to pick up a GPU for the past few months and I've narrowed down my search to getting either a GTX 960 or a R9 380 (that's how far my budget can stretch). I was also considering getting a R9 270x as it is significantly cheaper than both and still delivers good performance... When the R7 370 came out, I was assuming it was a rebrand of the capable R9 270. BUT, some people have been telling me that the card is actually a rebrand of the R7 265... so now, I'd like to know where the R7 370 card actually came from and if it is a decent card to get (I'll be pairing it with my pre-existing i5 4590)

It's a 270. Texture units and shaders are identical. That says it all.
