[SOLVED] R7 3700X/3800X

So currently,in my country, the 3700X costs about 260 Euros and the 3800X costs 290...If they drop to 160-200,like the 2700X did, then i'll be able to upgrade,but first i need to ask a few things.

I currently use a RM650x from Corsair ( it's new,i'm using it for about 6 months), a TUF X570 and a 2070S.
Total power consumption during load it's 380-420 watts.
Can i safely upgrade to 3800X (105W TDP) and maybe try for a static OC ?
Also i'm only using an 8pin for the X570.The extra 4pin isn't supported by the PSU...Can this create any issues in this scenario?

Same for the 3700X,but it has a 65W TDP, so i expect it to consume way less power even with an actual OC...Let me know if i'm wrong at this.

1B)Don't even bother, it's not the best method of performance tweaking on Ryzen 3000.

I have a 3800x, Asus x570 TUF and 2070S. If you look at gaming benchmarks the 3700x is almost identical to the 3800x at 1080p. At 1440p they render the same frame rates. I did waste money on the 3800x.

With that said, love the platform. Great gaming pc.
