Hello, so i basically game all the time and i'll do a little bit of video editing/photoshop in the future. So as the title says... which one is better mostly for gaming?

Solution
1080p 144hz
Then the 9900K is slightly faster but the 3700X won't bottleneck even a 2080Ti. I have an 1800X with OCed 2080Ti.
Also you can't upgrade your 9900K to anything in the future while the 3700X can be upgraded to a 4800X or any other Ryzen 4000. Finally, you need the best aircooler or at least a good 280mm watercooler for the 9900K.
Its your choice.
Thats an easy one for me, R7 3700X and the RTX 2080 Super. As long as you get a decent B450 motherboard or one of the budget, yet good X570 (like the Asus PRIME X570-P or TUF GAMING X570-PLUS for example), you should be able to update to the new 4xxx Ryzens later on and get another jump in performance (keeping the same mobo and RAM).

The core i9 9900K is the best CPU for gaming but its belongs ot a dead platform.

And no doubt about also if its gaming your main focus, the graphic card is the most important part of a gaming rig so the RTX 2080 Super is the way to go.
