Hello, so i basically game all the time and i'll do a little bit of video editing/photoshop in the future. So as the title says... which one is better mostly for gaming?
Then the 9900K is slightly faster but the 3700X won't bottleneck even a 2080Ti. I have an 1800X with OCed 2080Ti.1080p 144hz
What resolution and refreshrate (Hz)?Hello, so i basically game all the time and i'll do a little bit of video editing/photoshop in the future. So as the title says... which one is better mostly for gaming?
Similar here. 3700x and 2080S running 1440p and very happy with it.My 3800x and 2070S run fantastic at 1440p.
Every system can bottleneck, even the best gaming builds in certain circumstances. This is why resolution and Hz was asked for. Even then it’s not really a bottleneck. What about bottlenecking? I heard that R7 bottlenecks a 2080 super

This is about the 1 scenario where an i7/i9 can push a few extra FPS but I wouldn’t call the 3700x a bottleneck.1080p 144hz
No the 3700X with the 2080Super will still be faster.Alright so... an i9 9900k with rtx 2070 super is slightly faster than a R7 3700x with rtx 2080 super? That's the ultimate question xD
At 1080p and assuming that when gpu limited you lower game settings to take load off the gpu to utilise the extra FPS the i9 can push.Alright so... an i9 9900k with rtx 2070 super is slightly faster than a R7 3700x with rtx 2080 super? That's the ultimate question xD
