Question R7 3800X on ASUS Prime a320m-K with AMD Prism Cooler ?

as the title says, i am wondering if that setup would work for a few months until i get a better motherboard (x570). its also paired with a 1050ti + 500w psu.

It'd work. No PBO or OC though and it might get a bit toasty at times. The Prism will blow down onto the VRM area which might help a little.

according to the listing where i originally bought the computer from, its a "Thermaltake Smart 500w 80+". reckon its good enough? a power supply is also my list to upgrade because i know 500w isnt really a lot when paired with newer componets.

No, it's a duffer that one. I'd be hesitant to use it.

alrighty. i will just have to wait to get new componets before installing my CPU then.
