Question R7 5800X showing only 6C/12T in task manager

I was wondering why my R7 5800X that is an 8C/16T CPU only shows that it has 6C/12T in task manager?

Open msconfig by typing it in the search box.

Click on the BOOT tab, the ADVANCED OPTIONS button. Then clear any check mark in the "Number of processors" box. Then reboot.
