R7870 Hawk vs Tahiti

Just wondering which of the cards are better in terms of performance and price.
If one is superior to the other how much better would it be?

the tahiti refers to either the 7870xt (tahiti le) 7950(tahiti pro) 7970(tahiti xt)

the 7870 is pitcairn xt

any of the tahiti chips are faster than the 7870 hawk

+1 Tahiti LE will be faster even if you overclock the Hawk to the max (it would be close to the stock 7870xt with the tahiti le core but this one is still capable to overclock between the 7950/7970 performance...)

Well on newegg there seems to be 7870XT from Sapphire and then 7870LE from Power Cooler. So is there anyone or anywhere that has benchmarks comparing 7870,7870 HAWK,7870 (Tahiti), and 7950 (Stock and OC'd). I may be asking for much but the 7870 HAWK seems to be priced around the same as the Tahiti and that makes it seems like its performance seems similar even though you guys say otherwise. Also, which of the 7870 Tahiti seems to be better performing (with OC).

Sapphire's 7870 xt is the only one in stock on newegg. I prefer sapphire to powercolor, but that's preference, not based entirely on fact.

Well usually twin fans are better optimized for OC i believe than single fan. But certain people are ok with the powercooler design though it may not gain as much OC as a twin fan may if im not wrong. Still it the design such as heatpipes/heatsink and others may need to be taken into consideration.

The 7870XT is faster than the 7870HAWK

The 7870 stock is 9% slower than the 7870XT. The 7870 HAWk is 10% OC over the stock 7870. But clcock speeds do not scale perfectly and the 7870XT still has more OC headroom
