R9 270 crossfire compatibility

I have an r9 270 core edition (not x) and was wondering if it can crossfire with the double dissipation edition since they're the same card in all respects other than having another fan as far as i can tell. Just wanted to ask here.

Yes, so long as you synchronize the settings and the architectures are the same, same memory, GPU family, etc., it should be fine. Make sure you have a high quality, reliable, power supply capable of supporting the configuration though. For R9 270 CF a 620w PSU with the necessary number of PCI power connections for both cards is recommended.
