r9 270 v.s gtx 760 SC

okay im on a really tight budget right now, my monitor supports 1080p as far as i know, though it may only be 720p (i'm really not all to sure how it all works) I have changed my monitor to 1920x1080 through my display settings and it works so i assume its 1080p) .. anyways amazon has a deal on the r9 270 2gb for 200$ (says regular is 309.47$) .. the other option is the Evga gtx 760 SC ACX for 250$ .. whats better for the value ? If the r9 270 is really close in performance and 50$ cheaper would you recommend it ?

and please no links to other sites or gpu's it has to be one of those 2 as stated as I am doing this through a gift card balance not a credit card

The GTX760 is considered to be a bit stronger.
Probably, the performance per dollar equation is about equivalent.

If you have a nvidia or amd preference for drivers, go with that.

go with gtx 760 NVIDIAs drivers are better the gtx 760 is faster and there version of crossfire(sli)is more stable and less bugs also i have the gtx 760 and i can max out any game no problem at 180p with a solid 60fps
