Today I installed an R9 270x to replace my AMD 7750 so i decided to test a few games to see the performance but the frame rate seems to be around the same as the 7750 maybe a little higher like maybe 4 - 6 frames higher so i decided to wipe my computer clean of all ATI and Nvidia Drivers as well as using Driver sweeper in safe mode and this did nothing i also disabled my on-board Graphics in the bios setting be still nothing so i'm wondering if it could be my Motherboard which is an Asrock Nc68-c Ucc.
I am pretty sure that this could be the cause but i just wanted to make sure.
My Athlon ii x4 640 CPU which is also to blame can bottleneck my GPU but should not by that much as i must be loosing around 30 - 40 frames as iv'e seen Compared to the R9 270x Benchmarks.
so could you please tell me if i should buy a new Motherboard and CPU also sorry about my spelling.
here are my specs just in-case.
CPU - Amd Athlon ii x4 640
Gpu - R270x
Motherboard - Asrock Nc68-c Ucc
Ram - 8gb(Not sure what make)
PSU - Corsair TX 650W PSU
Operating system - Windows 8.1
