R9 270x gaming doesnt want to overclock

Hey guys,

My 270x gaming is stuck on 1030mhz(silent mode) and it doesnt want to bump up to 1080 or 1120 when I use the gaming app or the msi afterburner to manually oc.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

You must uninstall the gaming app. Otherwise ab won't allow an oc. Completely remove all drivers ans the app, reinstall and use ab. The msi app causes all sorts of issues.
