R9 270x has 2 6 pin power connectors but i have one

i am going to buy the Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card, but his card requires you to have 2 6 pin power connectors and i dont have any of these do i need to upgrade my power supply? Although the GPU box comes with 2 x Power Splitter (4pin to 6pin). is this a second 6 pin power connector for power supplies that have one 6 pin power connector for GPUs?
