R9 280 fps really low

Hi all, I just recently purchased a Gigabyte R9 280 OC 3GB graphics card for my AMD FX 8-100 overclocked build... the computer had a MSI Raedon 7750 2GB in it before i installed the new R9 280. And I've tryed everything I reinstalled the drivers and I'm still getting really low fps with the new card. I get 10-15 fps on The Forest with medium settings, 10-15 fps medium settings Dayz, 30fps max settings on minecraft, It ran great on the Unigine Valley Benchmark but when I play actual games it does like sh*t Any advice would be super appreciated. Is it a CPU bottleneck?

Do u think my FX 8-100 overclocked to 3.6ghz would bottleneck it? I'm pretty new to pc building btw.
