r9 280 or r9 280x

Hey there I built my pc the other day and I needed to wait till I got my other money to get a graphics card.

I am looking around on EBAY and I have found loads of r9 280x's second hand for 130-140 ish. but the postage would take like a week to come and im not happy waiting that long to get a graphics card. So I went on amazon and I find a Radeon r9 280 for 135 and I would get it tomorrow.

Is there a BIG difference between the two cards? Like would they still run all games on high to ultra 1080p? Im only using one monitor.

Go for r9 280x. It has more VCore amd it will be best for gaming

Both have similar value to performance. I would say get 280x if you can afford it. Also, it would be the same as comparing 7950 and 7970 since these cards are re-banded versions of those cards.

I'd suggest waiting a week. You wont be happy about it for a week - but you'll be happier with your PC in the long run.
