R9 280 vs R9 270x

First of all, is the jump from an HD 6770 to one of these cards worth it? Second of all, is it worth it to spend about $40 more on the r9 280 instead of the r9 270x? Thanks.

Yes it is worth it if you plan on gaming.
The R9 280 is a better buy than a R9 270X if your budget can fit it.

on youtube 280 beats the 270x as much as i have seen anyway
