r9 280 vs r9 280x

I was just wondering is the price to performance worth it on the r9 280x when compared to the r9 280. Or am i better off saving for a future upgrade buy getting the 280?

You should probably wait for the 300 series.

There's a 10% performance difference roughly - you can oc the 280 to 280x performance ,but then again you can also oc the 280x.

They're alredy out and the 280x is outperforming 380. Not sure about 380x when it comes out tho.
