r9 280 vs r9 285 which one?

I know this is my second thread i was going to go with gti 760 but these cards above beat it.....now in my other thread i decided to go with r9 270 but now im confused

as ill pay ore and get a higher end card so which one

r9 285 and r9 280 is the same price but one has 3 gb ddr5 and other has 2gb ddr5?

R9 280 is a better card and comes with more VRAM. You definitely want that extra 1GB of VRAM.

- it matters if your gaming at 1440p resolution or higher but for 1080p, get the r9 285. 285 is better than 280 in all of the games tested. Check out the price difference of the two, if its a lot then get the cheaper one. But if they are almost the same, get the 285

280 and 960 are pretty much even in performance but 280 is cheaper and 1gb more memory. If you can afford 960, might as well get the 280x. Check this out:

was looking at the benchmarks, the 285 beats all of the one i mentioned i might get that today

For 1080p, r9 285's 2gb will be ok. If you can add $15 more get the 280x for more power and more VRAM
