Greetings,
Quick question.
My current rig is as follows:
r9 280x
600w psu
i5 3570
I am about to buy a r9 270 for a rig in my bedroom:
450w psu
2x mobile hard drives
1x 120mm fan
1x 80mm fan
Intel g850
Micro atx motherboard
1x stick of ram
The r9 270 is identical to an r9 270x when OC. The card is only 149.99.
I determined than an r9 270 in crossfire outperforms even an r9 290x.
If I was to eventually obtain 2 r9 270s, I would swap out my 280x for the two 270s (due tot hem being faster, and it would allow me to put my extra hard drive cage back into my haf 912)
Could a vp 450 with only 1 stick of ram, 2 small fans, 2 mobile hard drives, and a measely 50w g850 support a underclocked r9 280x?
Thanks guys,
Chao
