r9 280x dual X oc version vs 7970 xfx

so 280x cost 310 usd vs xfx 7970 cost about 440 usd

so please help me dcide on what to get.. currently i have 7850 xfx

i watched/research bout both cards and they said that they perform pretty the same ..
and what psu would you recommend ?

get the latest card, you can never go wrong this way, especially it is cheaper. then get another card in the future.
as for the PSU, get a 850W PSU, from either SeaSonic, Antec, XFX pro or Corsair HX. this PSU will allow you to add a second card in the future.
