R9 280X Dual-X vs R9 280X Toxic

I was wondering what's the difference between these two, I know that the R9 280x Toxic is stronger but is it actually worth buying? or the Dual-x has the same performances?

The toxic cards are exceptional, and the cooler is extremely good, I'd personally spend the extra 50$ in that situation.

The r9 280x toxic is the best 280x you can get in my opinion and it is worth every penny if you can find it in stock.

Well I have Corsair 750tx , I don't think there should be a problem.

the toxic is just a better binned chip that will likely overclock slightly further than the dualx. that is of course as long as neither of the cards are voltage locked/limited while overclocking.

both the full gk104 and full tahiti chips are great gpus. its really a toss up and up to personal preference. nvidia has cuda acceleration and physx while amd has amazing gpgpu performance. neither of those mean very much for gaming though, physix is nice but steals performance, i turn it off. in the end the 280x is ever so slightly faster than the 770, though you would never notice it.
