R9 280X Eyefinity

I recently bought a Gigabyte R9 280X for cheap, 150 bucks. I realized I have a bunch of old Dell monitors and would like to use 3 of them to try to get an eyefinity setup. Thing is the 280x has one DVI port, one HDMI and two mini display ports. The monitors only have VGA ports. Is there any way I can use adapters to get this to work?

Obviously DVI --> VGA for one
The other 2 you have a couple options I guess.

You can do HDMI --> VGA and then MiniDP -->(active adapter)--> VGA
or do 2 miniDP to VGA, at least one of which needs to be an active adapter.
