r9 280x i5 4690 vs r9 280x fx 6300

i want to buy a new mid range gaming computer and i want to know if the FX-6300 will decrease graphics card performance or it will be fine.

In very CPU intensive titles (or multiplayers), you might feel held up a bit by CPU ("Bottlenecking"), but in general the differences shouldn't be very significant. But i5 will be better than FX 6 almost always, measurably.

I used to have the fx 6300, now i own the 4690k, and i can tell you from experience that its not a big jump. With the intel i have higher min. fps, so its a smoother experience. I would recommend you the i5-4440, its a little cheaper and practically the same performance.

So the i5 4440 will be the same?because I will not overclock and that's why I chose the non k.

The 4690 is i think 200 mhz faster, but you wont notice any difference, you should go with a 4690k if you are into oc or a 4440 if you are not, don get any other i5, unless you can get it for the same price as the 4440 of course.
