and the other weird thing is i got 50 fps on MC max setting

I just made the pc yesterday and boom this happends.. please help

im sure i have the latest version of the drivers

What resolution?

maximum setting

What resolution, like 1080x1920, 720x1280, etc?

The temps are fine, what about the CPU and GPU usage while gaming?

cpu usage about 30 percent max and how do i check the gpu usage?

70 fps is enough if you have a 60 hz monitor.

I suggest you make sure fps is set to unlimited in the settings.

" Running your games above 60 fps will just put extra strain on your graphics card"

I set my limiter to 63 sometimes because I find it removes some of the tearing however beyond that you will need to buy a 120 hz to reap the rewards.

I would set a frame cap to 60 fps.

I've never played mine craft however many people are telling me that it requires lots of resources.
50 fps is not bad.

I suggest you don't believe everything you see on YouTube.

this graphic card is actually a beast.... i got 12 fps on that resolutionn.... what is going on-_- this is wrong

To be fair, Borderlands 2 is heavily optimized for Nvidia. As are most advanced games.
But that's still ridiculous performance; I'm certain there's another cause. Overheating, or a power shortage, or corrupted drivers, or something.

You should also check to see if your PC is actually using your R9 280X; it might be using the integrated graphics of your i5. I know that's sometimes an issue buying a new card and you have to disable the integrated graphics... But I don't know how to check.

That card can max all settings in borderlands 2 EXCEPT physx, set that to low.

With my system I can lock fps to 72 @ 1080p and never get dips until I go into the arenas.

Something is definately wrong.

Good call, make sure that the display is actually plugged into the GPU, that should make the PC use the GPU.

(Off topic: Have you changed your profile picture? Wasn't the original one from the 'Of Masks and Dragons' -trailer?)
