Hello, I have Asus r9 280x matrix platinum(it was 7970 but flashed the r9 bios which gave me few bonus fpses, problem was there with old one too). Card is oced to 1100 from the factory. When playing any games,in the first 10 min card works at 1100 but then it downclocks to 950 and there is no way to change the clock, only if you restart the pc or restart the driver in device manager. I am using Asus GPU tweak 2 for monitoring, changing clocks and voltages. I was using afterburner before I got the current card, but it doesnt have special settings(vrm clock, load line, memory voltage and so on..) and monitoring like tweak 2(which is designed for this card) so I uninstalled it. All my temps are more than awesome, for instance gpu is at 58c while playing overwatch with 30% fan speed. Power delivery is also very stable. Since I am familiar with editing and flashing bioses, I found the 950mhz value in bios and edited it to 1100(it was labled as peformance mode #6) Card now runs at that clock but I still see that it is switcing to that "peformance mode #6" from "peformance mode #0". Problem with that mode is like i said before,it doesnt respond to clock changes done in software(you cannot go lower or higher than 1100,same was when value was 950. My conclusion is that it is a problem with PowerPlay. How do I disable it or to remove that profile to be exact? I know that afterburner can do something like that but I think it would cause a conflict with asus tweak.
P.S I reinstalled drivers multiple times
