R9 280X no display on hybrid bios

I bought a MSI R9 280X 3GB edition. It has a dual BIOS feature. When I installed it (it was on the hybrid BIOS setting) , powered on the pc the monitor just stays in sleep mode like it's not connected to the gpu and I can hear
windows boot up. When switched to the Legacy BIOS it works normally i.e monitor works. What could be the problem?

My specs:
Mobo: Intel DZ77GA-70K
CPU: I5 3570K
PSU: Chieftec 600W

Problem fixed by updating mobo BIOS.

Sorry to dig up an old thread like this, but it worked for me as well.

Using the same card and an Intel DH77-KC motherboard.
