R9 280X running hot!!!

My r9 280x always stays at about 65-75 degress both on idle AND while blasting games on it. Im checking the activity in amd overdrive, and its always at 91%. Is something wrong here or... ?

Check in your task manager and see what might be using you gpu.
Run Malwarebytes and antivirus scan.
If that doesn't solve it, then last resort is to reinstall Windows.

Yeah, should i buy windows 10 when it comes out? got 7 now.

lol, i fixed it XD. i think steam, ccleaner or spotify was the bad process...

It is better to. There might be a promotion making it cheap to upgrade.

lol, i fixed it XD. i think steam, ccleaner or spotify was the bad process...

I also had this problem and went into the task manager and saw Steam was open for some reason even though I never opened it and closed it and my GPU stopped going berserk so yeah, whenever it does that, check Steam.
