Hi everyone,

I am getting my new pc tomorrow and i am a little bit worried about my graphics card... I 've read that the vapor-x makes a lot of noise, compared with all the other non-reference cards.Could you give me an objective opinion, based on your experience?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Here's the noise level of the r9 280x non-reference cards:

As you may see, the vapor-x does indeed make some noise and it is the loudest r9 280x card along with MSI and Toxic.
If noise is a big factor for you, I would recommend getting either the His or ASUS versions of this particular card.
Asus has good OC potential and higher stock clocks than the HIS version. The HIS version however, runs cooler and is more quiet and not as big in lenght/width. Asus also has a small advantage over in memory bandwith and pixelrate.
Hope this helps^^
