R9 280x vapor x

Hello!

I recently built my first pc, everything works as it should except for the GPU. My system :
H81M itx/wifi AsRock
8GB Ram
Sapphire R9 280x Vapor x
Intel i5 4460
Coolermaster G550m 550 watt

I tried to install drivers, which doesnt work, it doesnt show up anywhere, when I connect it fans are spinning and it lights up but doesnt do anything else. When I connect my HDMI to my Graphics card I get no output at all. When I try to install AMD CCC the download progress immediately skips to 119%, followed up by a message saying "Application Install: Install package failure!". I am absolutely desperate, is there anyone who could help me? graphics I have a standard VGA adapter and it cant detect my OS for some reason (which is Win 7 64 bit)

To use the gpu, you have to plug the monitor to the gpu directly. If you using the motherboard's display ports, you simply just running off the integrated graphics. You can't install AMD drivers if it doesn't detect using the card.
Make sure you plug in both the 8 pin on the R9 280X from the psu.

I have connected everything, power cables and the card are all in place, hdmi is plugged into the integrated graphics, when i plug it into the gpu i dont get a signal

Try updating your integrated graphics, then switch the HDMI cable to your graphic card. If you boot up the system whilst the monitor is connected to the gpu, is there anything popping up on the display?

If you have onboard gpu STOP NOW! GO INTO THE BIOS ! DISABLE THE ONBOARD GPU ! HOOK UP YOUR DISCREET GPU CARD ! MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED TURN ON PC AND YOU SHOULD SEE IT WORKING...if not your power suppy may not be enough for said card.
