R9 280x vs GTX 770

Hey guys I'm about to purcahse all the parts for my build and I was just wondering wether to go for the GTX 770 or R9 280x I mainly want to play BF4, Watch Dogs, GTA 5 and star citizen when it comes out. I play at 1080p and I might upgrade to a 1440p monitor sometime down the line so which would be better for me

I'd go with the 280x since Star Citizen and BF4 will be optimized with Mantle.. but G-sync is also coming out so it's a tough choice

280x is a better deal right now with a little more punch in most games. The the 3gb ram would also be more beneficial in 1440p gaming.
