I bought my R9 280x back when it was $300 and now I am seeing them sell used for $450 so I want to sell it but is that a good idea? What could I replace it with that wouldn't cause too much of a performance loss?

@bignastyid im not trying to say its a bad brand just stuff like voltage locked 7950 and stories of bad cooler mounting from a person here or there make me prefer other brands at the same price.
Honestly if you bought a gigabyte card I would bet it will be great and you will love it. Just personally I would buy evga, asus or MSI over gigabyte.
When you have so many good brands to choose from every little difference from colors to a backplate included to supporting msi or evga because of their overclocking software can be the deciding factor. That's why I wouldn't get gigabyte. One bad story here and another there can break a 4 way tie.

Not trying to bash a brand just trying to help make a hard choice between several good brands

Mine and the ones I've used in the past have all worked very well.

I have had poor experiences with gigabyte so if there is no advantage to them I would prefer to avoid them. How much performance loss can I expect if I went to a GTX 760?
