r9 280x vs r9 290

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x 4gig)

RM750 — 750 Watt 80 PLUS gold

2 samsung 120g ssds

1 seagate barracuda 1tb mechanical




Wondering what card i should get


SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 TRI-X OC WITH BOOST

or

SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 290 4GB GDDR5 TRI-X OC (UEFI)

im only running one monitor. dont plan on getting more.

i want to play bf4, watch dogs, red orchestra 2, arma 3, all at ultra settings with atleast 60+ fps.

The 290 is better than the 280x. It'll run games better.

Normally I'd say 280x but since you included Watch Dogs you'll need more from your GPU. So, I'd get the 290.
