R9 290 - 4670k - Z97 Pro4 - UNDERPEFORMING

Hey guys, I've been experiencing some very questionable frame rates in certain games. games I have problems with include: Dayz, World of Warcraft. TERA online, Archeage. Now I can run games like CS:GO Etc very well at around 300 fps maxed out settings. But I dont understand why I can't get 60fps on ultra in these games. I know that dayz is unoptimized etc but WoW and stuff should easily be handled by my PC on ultra. I've seen streamers etc play Archeage at way better fps than me on cheaper rigs. I've checked Ram with memtest, I've tried OCing my cpu to 4.4ghz (safely of course) and I just don't understand why my pc is under performing. when im ingame, it uses 100% of my GPU and a high percent of CPU and I get ok temps so nothing is throttling, I use the latest AMD drivers for my r9 290.I'm considering RMA'ing my GPU as I someone has recommended me to. Can anyone help me? cheers

U said u are using new updated drivers? have u updated it from ur vendor?

i've been getting my drivers from AMD directly. Should I be getting a model specific Gigabyte one or something?

Just checked Gigabyte website and they have old 13.11 drivers for it?
